BROOKINGS, S.D. - The third annual I-29 Dairy Conference will be held in three states Jan. 30 through Feb. 1. South Dakota State University, along with Iowa State University, the University of Minnesota, the University of Nebraska, and their Extension services, will present the conference.

Lincoln residents saw only flurries Friday morning, but far Southeast Nebraska got much more. Salem, in Richardson County, picked up 5 inches of snow. Other reports included: Shubert, 3.1 inches; Rulo, 3.0; Falls City, 2.3; Auburn, 1.6; Virginia and Hebron, 1.0.
